Beignet and iced chai

Today was just a random Wednesday, but it was filled with sweetness.

I had a wonderful, relaxing facial, the last in a holiday special that Mama and I signed up for last December. I kept dozing off and waking myself up so I could enjoy the pampering! After months of issues with my skin, it feels like my face is starting to clear.

Then, even my medical errands went surprisingly smoothly: my prescription was ready when I got to the pharmacy, and the lab tech miraculously found a vein on the first try!

On my way back home, I picked up hot, fresh beignets at a hidden little bakery, where we’ve quickly become regulars. I brought them home and Mama and I enjoyed them with iced coffee and iced chai. They were delicious!

Today’s #OneGoodThing was a lovely day of relaxation and great food with Mama!
