Tonight I made peanut butter cookies from scratch, and we washed down the warm cookies with cold milk. Heavenly!

I mostly followed a recipe from one of our favorite bakeries in Santa Cruz, The Buttery. The recipe was published by the L.A. Times several years ago. I tried to make the cookies a bit smaller than the recipe states, and so they turned out much less pretty, but still tasty.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was homemade peanut butter cookies fresh from the oven with Mama!
