Good movie on a bad day

Just because I write about good things every day doesn’t mean I always have good days. I woke up consumed with nausea and it only got worse. My Crohn’s is acting up, leaving me feeling pretty miserable. It was a lean day for #OneGoodThing options.

And then I dragged myself out of bed to watch a movie with Mama. We streamed a heartwarming drama called “Gifted” about a single man raising his child prodigy niece.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was watching this great movie with Mama!

Day 118 of 365. And Day 849 in a row (here’s the first 366 & the following 365)!

1 year ago today: Freshly stocked fridge

2 years ago today: Daily jabs make a difference

8 years ago today: Happiness is…

What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments!

  1. Sorry Gabriana to learn it was such a nasty day.  I enjoyed that movie also.  I had an awful day today also.  I have left Neflix DVD service and now things streaming through them.  I had wanted go watch Lady Gaga 5ft 2.  Today I started the series Myths and Monsters.  I am learning a lot but unfortunately forgetting most.  The program starts with Joseph Campbell’s theories.

    • Thanks Athena! It is always lovely to hear from you! Streaming can be such a great escape from our painful bodies. I’m glad we have that outlet. I’ll check out the titles you mentioned. I recently finished Dr Who on Amazon Prime, and loved it! Sending you big gentle hugs and hope you’re having a better day!
