Going crazy with chalk pens

The “Oh Lovely” signature cocktail

Last summer, we created the “Oh Lovely” specialty cocktail to serve at a summer garden party.

After extensive taste-testing with our friend Lisa, we settled on the ingredients when Mama took a sip and exclaimed, “Oh lovely!” We did an updated taste-off with our dear Vashti recently, and decided not to mess with a good thing.

Our signature drink features Moscato d’Asti wine, Elderflower liqueur, and sparkling pink lemonade. I also add frozen “cotton candy” grapes to keep the drink cold, but undiluted. Plus, the boozy grapes are delicious!

Last year’s chalkboard drink announcement faded and washed away. This year I used chalk pens to create a colorful new sign, which will hang above the refreshments area.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was playing with chalk pens to create our signature drink announcement!

Day 194 of 365. And Day 925 in a row (here’s the first 366 & the following 365)!
