Pluot tree’s first crop ever

Tiny pluots growing on our gorgeous Emerald Beaut tree

The Emerald Beaut pluot tree we planted in our backyard 1.5 years ago is now getting its first fruit ever!

This glorious variety of pluot won’t be ripe until late August/early September, but Mama and I are so thrilled to be growing our favorite summer fruit.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was finding the first ever tiny pluots on our tree with Mama! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments!

Day 121 of 365. And Day 1,217 in a row (here’s the first 366, & the following 365, & the third year of 365 good things)!

  1. I’d never heard of a pluot till I started reading your blog, Gabriana. I have found that it is a portmanteau word, formed from combining ‘plum’ and ‘apricot’.
