Good day for an infusion

Another heatwave began today, so it was a fine day to be stuck inside the air-conditioned hospital. I lucked out with Nurse Tamara, who miraculously got my difficult IV going on the first try. Plus I got another visit from this sweet fluffy dog named Andrew!

When I returned home, I found Mama’s new helper arranged beautiful Dahlias in a little vase to brighten my room. The sticky heat lasted well into the evening, so Mama and I cooled down with It’s-It mint ice cream sandwiches. So good!

Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was a good day for my immune-suppressing infusion to treat my Crohn’s Disease! As always, many huge thanks to my good friend Kelley who takes me to these hours-long appointments! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! Kindness is Everything.

Day 233 of 365. And Day 1,329 in a row (here’s the first 366, & the following 365, & the third year of 365 good things)!
