It’s odd to realize, but I haven’t gotten a pedicure alone in more than a decade.

Traditionally it’s an activity I’ve done with Mama or a friend. But Mama got her nails done yesterday at the on-site spa in her community. So I took myself to a new salon. I closed my eyes and just enjoyed it. It was good.
