Today was the funeral of my childhood friend, Jenessa Schwartz.
The eulogies from her father, her rabbi, and one of her former students were very moving—each further illuminating Jenessa’s beautiful life and the mark she left on so many of us.
My chronic illnesses prevented me from making the long drive, but thankfully, I was able to watch the service online. I’m hoping to attend one of the nights of Shiva this week.
Today was one of those days where I was only able to move from the bed to the couch. Hopefully, I’ll move metaphorical mountains again soon.
Today’s #OneGoodThing is a necessary rest day. What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
