I joined Mama for lunch at her Assisted Living facility today for their Thanksgiving Feast with family members. Since we won’t be having turkey for perhaps the first time ever this holiday, it was nice to have a taste of the traditional fare prepared by someone else.
After lunch, we had a nice visit in Mama’s apartment and I helped her with a few odd jobs. On our way out to see our beloved chiropractor, we stopped at the Dining Room for introductions to her friends (who were already gathered for dinner). I got to meet the kind gentlemen that Mama often eats meals with. They were friendly and told me how much they enjoyed her company. It was very sweet.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama is meeting her friends at Assisted Living! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
