Severe shingles has me hospitalized for the time being. I’m relieved to finally get proper treatment, even if I’m still not improving.

Despite the physical misery, I’m also massively disappointed to miss a fun-packed weekend that I’d been looking forward to for months.

Thankfully, our friend Margo was able to shuttle Mama to visit me in the hospital. We had a lovely time together reading the AITA (Am I the asshole?) thread on Reddit.
