Today posed several unwanted challenges.
A car almost hit me while in the crosswalk in a hospital parking lot. Then a random pain turned out to be an infection. Even Mama Jude woke up feeling sick.
Also, we are worried about our family and friends in greater Los Angeles, where wildfires have killed at least five people and continue to rage on.
Seeing that today was not shaping up to be a gentle day, I treated myself to an iced chai after my doctor’s appointment. That is today’s #OneGoodThing! And yes, I still made a video about it (below). Readers, what was YOUR #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments!!! Let us cheer you on! And remember, kindness is everything!

Good to see you smile, Gabrianna! My days have been lonely. I’m turning into an elderly recluse. So many days are now filled with the sound of silence.
Thank goodness for my kitty. Spike keeps me alive. My good thing yesterday was cuddles with Spike.
