I was all smiles pre-infusion. I was ready. So I thought.
But my hours-long immunosuppressive IV infusion at the hospital had several hiccups that made today even more exhausting than usual. Thankfully, my port, Portia, was accessed without incident.
Unfortunately, my AirPods broke and my backup wired option didn’t work. I was in a small shared room today so I didn’t want to play any sound out loud. I made it work with the broken pod and managed to play a downloaded movie and take a nap.
Truly the highlight of my day was wearing my own handmade caftan. I love the print and it was comfortable with easy port access. Today was the first day I got to wear a piece of clothing I made. I’m so proud of myself.
Today’s #OneGoodThing is wearing my caftan to my hospital infusion day! Check out today’s video below! Readers, what was YOUR #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments!!! Let us cheer you on! And remember, kindness is everything!
