Today was my first immune-suppressing IV infusion (chemo for Crohn’s) since having my gallbladder removed two weeks ago. It’s been a rough recovery, slowed by a recurring bladder infection, though I’m much relieved to have my abdominal staples removed.
I had to get myself strong enough to have my immune system blasted again today and I just dragged myself through it—of course, I brought my unicorn pillow and Boston Terrier blanket and stuffie for comfort! I’m pleased to report that my implanted port is getting easier to use each time. Many thanks to our friend Bonnie for the ride to the hospital and my cousin Shari for the ride home!
Today’s #OneGoodThing was getting through my first infusion after surgery! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! Kindness is Everything.

I have a needle phobia, so I can hardly imagine what you’re going through, Gabriana. You’re so brave. And to keep find One Good Thing each day is amazing. What great friends you have! Love to Jude. Remember Venice? I’m going there for Carnevale on Monday.
