This beautiful, carved stone lion stood guard in front of the door to our apartment, located off of the hidden Campiello del Remer (in the Cannaregio sestiere of Venice, Italy).
Gorgeous glass chandeliers and light fixtures are everywhere in Venice. This particular clear and gold one glowed eerily on the island of San Servolo.
