The miracle of a prognosis beaten

IMG_5781Five years ago today, doctors found a massive tumor on my mother’s brain. It turned out to be an extremely rare, terminal brain cancer with a prognosis of two to five years.

My amazing mama has said all along that she would beat the odds. But the odds were not in her favor. It is a miracle that she is still with us today — and I am so very grateful to our many loved ones who helped us reach today. I may be a solo caregiver, but I am not alone. Thank you.
