Breakfast smoothies are back

During the colder months, we tend to shy away from breakfast smoothies because we’re simply too cold. Now that it’s getting warmer, we decided to reinstate our morning tradition.

We went with our old favorite purple smoothie, which includes a frozen banana, frozen blueberries, 1/2 avocado, fresh spinach, apple juice (no sugar added), and ice. It’s a riff off of a Paleo Autoimmune Protocol recipe that used orange juice. We found that too acidic so we made the switch to apple.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was the return of our delicious breakfast smoothie!
