My sweet friend Mark delivered his incredible, homemade brisket to us tonight.

Not only did Mark reach total mensch levels by driving HOURS to get to us, but this brisket was the best I’ve ever tasted. Yep, even better than the damn good brisket I slave over myself. This delicious brisket comprises our Passover celebrations and observance this year.

Mama and I loved visiting with Mark! We haven’t seen him in a few years, so tonight was especially nice. Mark was there for me at the hospital right after Mama’s brain surgery, and I will forever love him for his kindness during that time.
