Not one dose missed

My ladybug Buzzy with ice wings rests on my thigh, which is ready for the Vitamin B12 injection

Giving myself an injection every day is still one of the most difficult parts of my day.

I’ve learned that a lifelong needle phobia doesn’t disappear just because you’re forced to confront it daily. And so, late last year, it became easy to procrastinate and occasionally skip. But I could feel the difference as my right-side weakness worsened, and so I re-committed myself to doing my jab every single day, no matter what. Even days when the cold bathroom floor was the highlight, I did my jab. Even when a migraine raged war behind my eye, I did my jab.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was feeling proud of myself for not missing a single day’s injection in 2018.

Day 223 of 365. And Day 954 in a row (here’s the first 366 & the following 365)!

1 year ago today: Fantastic color explosion

2 years ago today: Remembering Robin
