Free bagels & bargain hunting

Mama and I got free bagels at Panera today! Yay! (Fellow bagel/Panera fans, it was part of a promo that’s continuing through the end of the year.) We selected chocolate chip bagels, which I find are delicious toasted with butter or shmear (cream cheese).

Our big excitement of the day, besides the free bagels, of course, was a bargain hunting adventure in a store called Tuesday Morning. Mama and I were vaguely aware of its existence before, but had no idea what they sold. My friend Gail introduced me to this treasure trove yesterday, and I couldn’t wait to share it with Mama! Aisle after aisle of quality kitchen and home items, all deeply discounted. It’s like a Ross store, but without clothes. Instead, there was room to sell craft supplies, interesting toys, pet stuff, furniture, and more. We spent a lot of time perusing the artist’s aisle, where we found an enticing smidgen of materials for at least two dozen different kinds of crafts. These gorgeous balls of soft yarn were Mama’s #OneGoodThing today; and I found teal glitter iron-on vinyl to use with my Cricut cutting machine.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was free bagels and bargain hunting with Mama!

Day 348 of 365. And Day 1,079 in a row (here’s the first 366 & the following 365)!

1 year ago today: Perfect gift for Boston lover

2 years ago today: Mama’s drawing Abby
