I had the dreaded task of going to the DMV to renew my driver’s license today. It had been 15 years since I’d had a new photo taken and I needed the new “REAL ID” that’s being required this year.
Despite having an appointment and people there being nice today, the DMV is an inherently aggravating place, particularly when your local office is being renovated and therefore temporarily relocated to the county fairgrounds. Ugh. So when I finished, I picked up fresh donuts to enjoy at home over coffee with Mama. She quite enjoyed her maple log!
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was coffee and donuts after the DMV! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! Kindness is Everything.
Day 50 of 366. And Day 1,511 in a row (here’s the first 366, & the following 365, & the third year of 365 good things, & the 4th year of good things)!
On this day…
- 1 year ago: Saving us from leaving the house
- 2 years ago: Olympic power and grace
- 3 years ago: Day of recovery
- 4 years ago: Homemade sweet potato fries
