With temperatures in the high 70s today, it was perfect weather to return to the community pool to walk and swim in the water with Mama.
By the end of our workouts, we ended up getting to share a lane. We split it—Mama walking on one side while I swam on the other. Toward the end, I surprised Mama with an underwater hug. When I surfaced, she laughed and said, “I sure hope that’s you!” It felt so good to move our bodies in the warm water and we had a great time!
