The afternoon’s warm sunshine urged me out into the garden for a coffee break. The fresh air and blue sky were delightful and I enjoyed a chai tea latte in my old KNX1070 Newsradio mug (from my first job in news writing).
Pretty orange poppies surrounded my little bench with bright aloe flowers in the background. I played James Taylor songs from my phone and Mama joined me, dancing to the music.
In the early evening, the sky suddenly opened up with gigantic raindrops that drenched me as I rushed to ensure we hadn’t left anything outside. The drastic change in weather was peculiar and made us all the more glad we’d enjoyed the backyard when we could.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was a sunny coffee break in the garden! Happy Easter to those who celebrate! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! Kindness is Everything.
