Mostly I haven’t minded getting everything we’ve needed online during the pandemic, but one of the few stores I actually miss and can’t shop online is Trader Joe’s.
I didn’t plan on going today, but I was already in the same shopping center car park on another essential (curbside) errand. The pull of TJ’s treats was magnetic, but my compromised immune system makes it safer for me to forgo any indoor shopping.
Then I spotted TJ’s staff member Allie gathering carts in the parking lot and asked if the store ever offered curbside shopping, explaining my situation. Though the service isn’t typically offered, it may be available on a case-by-case basis for health-related reasons. This gem did not hesitate to ask if I had a list and offered to grab what I needed! Having not actually planned on a TJ’s trip, I had to think quickly. Allie was patient, gathering carts while I wrote a list. When she returned with our groceries, she even brought a beautiful seasonal succulent as a gift!
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was the kindness of Trader Joe’s staff! Many thanks to Allie at Trader Joe’s in Santa Rosa!!! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!

It is so good to know about the good people, amidst all the anger and discord.

Well done Allie, and well done you for asking!
We don’t have TJ here, and we are really missing Costco, none in NL at all.
Hope you both (& Yvonne of course!) have a great weekend.
