My one good thing was taking a tiny wild bird that look very distressed, to the vet. They kept it for a while, then called to say I could go get it and let it back into the treetops. When I opened the box it was in, it took off like a jet plane!
It was a Spotted Pardalote, one of our smallest native birds. It was just beautiful! Mine was like the male in the photo numbered 565202.
