This weekend we will we opening our home to my fully vaccinated best friend since college and I could not be more excited!
Alyssa was going to visit for my birthday last year, but her trip was delayed more than a year due to the pandemic. So I have been looking forward to this visit for ages and I can’t wait! We’ve been texting each other countdowns since she bought her ticket and we are now down to the final days!

I reacted very badly to my first AstraZeneca vaccine. I am reluctant to have the second one, though I know I must!

I’m so sorry to hear you had a bad reaction, Yvonne. We took Benadryl and Tylenol an hour before our vaccines and I really think it helped reduce our side effects. That’s what I take before my infusions to prevent a reaction. I hope your second shot goes better!!!
