There’s another election in California tomorrow so Mama and I dropped our ballots off at the county office today. We do not support the recall of our state’s governor and think the whole debacle is a waste of resources.
After exercising our civic responsibility in this afternoon’s 95-degree heat, we treated ourselves to ice cold Slurpees! For less than $2 each, this was the perfect icy refreshment!

What a strange use of the word ‘recall’! I thought it meant that he had left office and was being recalled to office. It seems it’s the opposite!
