Twelve years ago today we learned that Mama had a mass on her brain. We didn’t even know what that meant.
That summer we learned a whole new set of medical terminology. She underwent brain surgery, followed by six weeks of radiation. A few months later she suffered a minor ischemic stroke.
A few months after that we learned that Mama’s rare brain cancer typically had a prognosis of two to five years. Against all odds, today makes 12 years.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama is a 12-year miracle! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
