You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah was just released on Netflix yesterday.

The film stars Idina Menzel and Adam Sandler, as well as Sadie, Sunny, and Jackie Sandler, Adam Sandler’s real-life daughters and wife. But I knew I’d love it because the screenplay was written by Alison Peck, a good friend of mine from college and a truly extraordinary woman!

My bestie Alyssa and I had our own little viewing party tonight, watching together while we FaceTimed. Not quite the same as sharing snacks, but at least we got to share some laughs.
