Today I had the pleasure of hosting my dear friend Laura for brunch, just like we used to 15 years ago when we lived in San Francisco. We had a nice group of friends who would share Shabbat dinners, Halloween parties, and the flash mob-style city pillow fight, among other events. I hosted a lot of fun brunches for our little group. But we’ve all since scattered.
Laura now lives with her husband and two sons in San Diego. And I’m in Santa Rosa, so it’s been some years since we’ve connected in person. Laura and I shared a feast of buttermilk pancakes, turkey bacon, and bellinis while we caught up on each other’s lives.
Today’s #OneGoodThing is an old-school brunch reunion with Laura! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
