After a quiet, restful birthday on my own yesterday, Mama and I celebrated together today. We attended an ice-dyeing workshop, a form of tie-dye we’d never done. Scrunching up our shirts and playing with the layers of powdered dye and ice was fun; we’re eager to see how they’ll turn out once the ice melts!
We enjoyed the lovely atmosphere of the brewery where the event was held (including this gorgeous iris flower), but it was surprisingly hot. After finishing our ice dye preparations, we brought take-out to the house and dug into the yummy cake. We had a nice, mellow, celebratory day together.
Today’s #OneGoodThing is sharing an ice-dyeing experience and birthday cake with Mama! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
