Pain from shingles still encompasses my entire being. There is no break. And today I learned that even shaded or indirect sunlight intensifies the burning alive feeling. But when I stopped torturing myself by being outside-ish and blaming myself for not healing more quickly, I got a text to check my porch.
And there was a delivery of Harry & David fruit from my sisterbestie Alyssa! Oh, the joy! Truly. I may be home from the hospital, but I am staying out of public with this rash. I also have no energy and no fresh food in the house. This box of pears and apples arrived just when it was needed. A get-well fruiting!
Today’s #OneGoodThing is a much-appreciated get-well fruiting! Many thanks to Alyssa for being there for me through this horrible illness! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
