Today was my first trip to the Children’s Museum! I mean, I’d been to them as a kid. But this was my first time going to the Children’s Museum in Santa Rosa. I went with my nearly 3-year-old nephew and his dad and we all had a great time playing together!
There was a moment between exhibits where my nephew was coming downstairs, saw me on a bench from afar and ran into my arms for a big hug. It might have been my favorite moment of the whole summer! Core memory unlocked. I’ll be riding that high for years!

Today’s #OneGoodThing is playing with my toddler nephew at the Children’s Museum! Readers, what was YOUR #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments!!! Let us cheer you on! And remember, kindness is everything!

Yes! One of my core memories is walking into my son’s home some 17 years ago and marveling as my toddler grandson raced across the room and fell into my arms. Major HUGGING time!
