Seeing Cesar again

It’s nearly Emerald Beaut pluot season so Mama Jude and I went to the farmers market this morning.

The Beauts weren’t out yet, but we got another treasured variety: Flavor Queens! All of these yummy stone fruits are grown by our beloved farmer friends at Ponce Farm.

We were especially excited to see Cesar once more. We’ve watched him grow up from Saturday to Saturday and summer to summer for the last 12 years. But he’s going off to college any week now so it was a joy to see him again!
