So that answered that question…

Mama and I have both been very ill for the last day and a half. It’s unusual for us to be out of commission at the same time, but excruciating headaches struck yesterday shortly after our glorious pedicures.

Late this afternoon — after a full 24 hours in bed — Mama and I met in the kitchen. “What the hell am I going to write about today?” I asked her. We shrugged at each other. Then we got the mail, which included a gift from an old friend with a lovely journal and cute stickers. So that answered that question!

Today’s #OneGoodThing was my pretty new journal and adorable stickers to add to my new collection! Thanks Jenny! You literally gave me something good to write about on a very awful day in our home.

Day 18 of 365. And Day 749 in a row (here’s the first 366 & the following 365)!

1 year ago today: Bright spot in a raging storm

2 years ago today: Doing for others

What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments!

    • Paisley has been very worried about us; she’s a good nurse though. She goes between our rooms and checks in on us, following along on any trips to the bathroom or kitchen. She’s very sweet and loving.

    • Thankfully Paisley is very understanding when we are unable to function. We could barely move, let alone take a walk. And now Miss P has unfettered access to the backyard so she can amuse herself outdoors! Though it was raining so she doesn’t like to go out in the rain. Pampered pup!
