As a kid, I had pale blonde hair, but it has gotten darker with age. I used to highlight my long locks occasionally, but I haven’t messed with the color much since I went pixie short.
The darkness of it had me in a funk, so I decided it was time to experiment at home. Having never successfully done this myself before, I enlisted the help of our wonderful neighbor and dear friend, Vashti.
The color is called “Dark Golden Blonde Honey Dip” by Garnier Nutrisse. The mix was relatively easy to use, and my hair came out very shiny at the end. I think the color looks better in person than in my before/after photos. And I’m just so happy to have my hair a little lighter; it both brightens and softens my face.
Today’s #OneGoodThing was changing my look and feeling a little more like myself. Thanks Vashti!!!
Day 28 of 365. And Day 759 in a row (here’s the first 366 & the following 365)!
