I made Elderflower Peach Shortcake for dessert tonight and it was scrumptious!
I found a recipe for homemade elderflower whipped cream online. I paired it with good, store-bought shortcake, which I toasted, and a sliced yellow peach from the farmer’s market.
We have adored the taste of elderflower for years. We even created our own cocktail around it last summer. Lately, I’ve been reading about ways to incorporate the flavor into baking and desserts.
As my first experiment, this special treat didn’t disappoint. I loved making freshly whipped cream flavored with my favorite liqueur. Yum! Today’s #OneGoodThing was enjoying this fantastic Elderflower Peach Shortcake with Mama!
