Pumpkin ravioli with Moscato D’Asti

After yesterday’s birthday adventures through the rain, we were wiped out and glad that we’d set time aside for rest today. With our fridge stocked with leftover spezzatino, we could stay home during the day.

But this evening, Mama and I were hungry and couldn’t get out of our heads the thought that Jonny just added pumpkin ravioli to his new menu at his Trattoria across the canal from us. Thankfully, they were able to pack up a couple of portions to go. The soft pumpkin and cheese ravioli sit in a lemon pistachio sauce, and they are simply divine! We paired it with a chilled bottle of Moscato D’Asti wine, which we picked up at Cantine Schiavi last week.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was a Venetian rest day with fabulous food!

Day 275 of 365. And Day 1,006 in a row (here’s the first 366 & the following 365)!
