One-week after my immune-suppressing infusion, I find myself with a very painful kidney infection.
I wasn’t able to get a phone appointment with a doctor until the evening. But I’m familiar with this particular set of symptoms, so I visited the lab and emailed my doctor an update.
Literally FOURTEEN minutes later, this other doctor, who I’ve never met before, called me. It was HOURS before our scheduled phone appointment time, but she knew I needed to start antibiotics as soon as possible. I’m still in a lot of pain, but I was really blown away by this amazing doctor!
