After a wonderful alfresco Shabbat altogether last night, my best friend and I got to properly catch up on life and dreams this afternoon (masked, distanced, and outdoors, of course!). I even French braided her hair! There’s something truly special about the deep laughter between longtime friends—especially those who are truly family!
We enjoyed all of our meals outdoors—with Paisley watching closely for any fallen crumbs.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was the laughter of longtime friends! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
Day 214 of 366. And Now Totaling 1,675 Days In A Row. Here’s the first 366, & the following 365, & the third year of 365 good things, & the 4th year of good things!
On this day…

- 2 years ago: A perfect routine
- 3 years ago: Stellar choreography took our breath away
- 4 years ago: Flooded with relief

What lovely hair! And, you did a mighty fine French braid.

Thank you, Yvonne! It’s been a long time since I’ve done much braiding. I used to French braid my own long locks, but it was different with curly hair.
