Mama had her MRI to monitor her rare brain cancer today—and we were worried because she’s struggled quite a bit more since her fall last May, particularly with double vision.
So it felt like no small miracle to us to learn that the MRI result was no new growth!!! Hooray! It was a massively stressful day for all 3 of us as we fretted over the possibilities (Paisley was at attention watching over the door to the MRI the ENTIRE time). What a glorious relief to hear the good news!
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was celebratory cupcakes and graduating to 1-year increments between scans! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! Kindness is Everything.
Day 17 of 366. And Day 1,478 in a row (here’s the first 366, & the following 365, & the third year of 365 good things, & the 4th year of good things)!
On this day…

- 2 years ago: Elevated pedicures with Mama
- 3 years ago: “There Is No Good Card For This”
- 4 years ago: Reorganizing the pantry

Phew. That wait for the next test, and the result, is such a tough time. Hooray for this good result.
