Mama and I recently started growing food from table scraps–everything from celery and lettuce to green onions and garlic. Each grew roots in little glasses of water on our kitchen windowsill, as we followed their progress with excitement.
But the transplant to the garden isn’t always successful, so it was with a bit of nervousness that we planted these garlic and lettuce scraps in our garden box today!
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was planting our table scrap starters! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments. And remember, kindness is everything!
Day 126 of 366. And Day 1,587 in a row (here’s the first 366, & the following 365, & the third year of 365 good things, & the 4th year of good things)!

WoW! New layout! Very good. I am trying celery at the moment. How long will it take? — I have got roots and planted it in a small pot in compost a couple of days ago.
