In my latest edition of late-night baking, I made a lattice-topped stone fruit pie using fresh plums from our tree.
Though I started making this pie at a reasonable hour, I didn’t finish baking it until the middle of the night. Readers, it was the wee hours before it cooled enough for us to enjoy a slice. But it was so good!
