No, it isn’t my 33rd birthday. Rather, today was my 33rd immune-suppressing infusion to treat Crohn’s Disease. I was looking forward to it because my guts have been rather angry this last week.
Also, this treatment is the predominant reason I leave the house these days (because of the pandemic) and so I was looking forward to catching up with the nurses.
Hooking the IV up to Portia (my port) was painless and everything went smoothly. Our wonderful friend Dena gave me rides to/from the hospital. And I even got to exchange bags of love over the fence with our neighbors before my appointment!
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was completing my 33rd immune-suppressing infusion and feeling the love from our friends! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
