A movie full of soul

As is our family’s oldest Jewish Christmas tradition, Mama and I watched a movie today. We transitioned this activity to one at home many years ago.

We watched the new animated movie Soul on Disney+ and it was truly excellent! Despite being animated, the movie seemed much less geared toward kids than one might expect. Rather, the storyline delves into what it means to have a soul, purpose, and passion. It was wonderfully done!

The main characters are voiced by Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey. And the jazz compositions and arrangements were by Jon Batiste, who we adore and recognized his playing from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Even the animated musician’s fingers looked just like Jon’s beautiful fingers flying across the piano keys!

Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was a movie full of soul! Happy Christmas to all those who celebrate! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!

Day 360 of 366. And Now Totaling 1,821 Days In A Row. Here’s the first 366, & the following 365, & the third year of 365 good things, & the 4th year of good things!

On this day…
