My chronic illnesses felled me completely and confined me to my bed today, but we managed to find something good anyway.

The adorable girls next door stopped by with a box of homemade Christmas goodies for us. It’s been a joy to watch them grow up and now the oldest is taller than Mama!

For the final night of Chanukah, we lit candles with loved ones Lisa and Kaila over FaceTime (the top menorahs are theirs). We enjoyed sharing the holiday together and having a nice visit.
