Mama and I celebrated Thanksgiving today with a small feast full of store-bought “cheats.”
We found a nice little fully cooked half turkey breast at Trader Joe’s. I bought our sides pre-made from Oliver’s Market and doctored them up a bit to our tastes. The only dishes I made were a Grand Marnier cranberry sauce and a pumpkin pie. We enjoyed it all with a glass of our favorite wine, Moscato d’Asti.
Mama and I spent Thanksgiving in Santa Rosa, which we acknowledge as Graton Rancheria and Southern Pomo land. You can’t “discover” land that people have been calling home for centuries.
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was a Thanksgiving mini feast! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
