Rather than spending today cooking for Thanksgiving, I was at the hospital receiving treatment for Crohn’s Disease. My symptoms flared up very painfully this last week, leaving me eager for today’s immune-suppressing infusion.
Our magnificent friend Dena drove me. It was such a joy to see her and catch up on life. I miss the pre-pandemic days of big hugs, but I appreciate her bright, warm spirit.
I was also really looking forward to getting dressed today—mostly to wear this new shirt. It’s got little Boston/Frenchie dogs with bowties on it!
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama was a good reason to get dressed! Infusion #34 done! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!
