What’s an ice cream sandwich? I’m imagining two slices of bread, buttered, with ice cream in between. That can’t be right. What does “It’s – It” mean?

An ice cream sandwich is ice cream “sandwiched” between two cookies. It’s-it is a brand of ice cream sandwiches that originated in San Francisco. The cookies are oatmeal and the whole thing is covered in a thin layer of chocolate. They’re delicious! We’ve been enjoying the mint variety since I was a little kid!
