Though we’ve grown tomatoes for the last several years, I’ve never trimmed them in the past. But I recently learned some new tips in a Facebook group for local gardeners about cutting off the bottom leaves and leaving room for air circulation. The plants already look healthier and happier!
Today’s #OneGoodThing with Mama is tending to our tomato plants! What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments! And remember, kindness is everything!

They’re great fun to grow!!! The other helpful tip I learned was to add banana peels, egg shells, and coffee grounds to the soil. We have had great luck with tomatoes! Hope you do too!!!
