Weird milestones

Today was my 60th immune-suppressing IV infusion to treat Crohn’s Disease. Since my colon has been angry and flaring for a few weeks, I was glad for this treatment.

The weather warmed up a little after the last couple of rainy days. Today seemed likely to be my last chance to wear my beloved flamingo Infusion Day dress. It’s got a zipper on the chest so the nurses can access my port, Portia. It’s also very comfortable. But it’ll probably be too cold to wear it again until late Spring. So today I celebrated the dress’s last wearing of the season.
